Relying on military force to defeat terrorism creates hatred that leads to more terrorism. The use of intelligence-gathering and military force are the best ways to defeat terrorism around the world. Welfare * Support welfare, including long-term welfare. Welfare is a safety net that must be protected. Oppose long-term welfare. Opportunities should be provided to make it possible for those in need to become self-reliant. Border Security * I support border security measures that includes additional funding for border patrol officers, advanced technology, and fencing/walls.
